Under the $1.9 billion contract, QinetiQ North America and its teammates will: -
design and develop ground systems and equipment for handling, test, checkout,
servicing, and other ground processing of launch vehicles, spacecraft, and
payloads,
- perform flight systems engineering and support engineering for space flight
hardware and software,
- develop technology that addresses NASA mission requirements and operational
needs,
- operate laboratories and developmental shops, and
- provide cross-cutting technical services.
Craig Technologies also supports NASA’s work at the Ames Research Center,
California, Johnson Space Center, Texas, Langley Research Center, Virginia and

As subcontractor to SGT, Inc. Craig Technologies will provide technical support for high-end systems used by Mission and Mission-support staff at LaRC, necessary for such operations as high performance computing, geometry modeling, grid generation, data visualization, image processing, computational analysis, and airspace and traffic operations simulation.

04.2010 Craig Technologies today announced it was part of the Science Applications International Corporation's (SAIC) team selected by the U.S. Navy's Program Executive Office (PEO) of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) to develop Department of Defense command and control (C2) software, as well as modification and enhancement of existing C2 systems. PEO C4I provides integrated communication and information technology systems, delivering end-to-end connectivity and enabling decision superiority to ensure mission success of U.S. naval forces. It acquires, fields, and supports C4I systems that extend across Navy, joint, and coalition platforms. This includes managing acquisition programs and projects that cover all C4I disciplines: applications, networks, communications, intelligence and surveillance, and reconnaissance systems for afloat programs and shore commands. Under the contract, Craig Technologies will provide support in areas including software engineering, design, development, integration, and modification, as well as test and evaluation. Craig Technologies will also provide integrated logistics support, and configuration and program management services as required.
