Craig Technologies selected as a Teammate on NASA’S Human Landing System (HLS) Proposal
Craig Technologies is proud to announce that it is part of a team with prime contractor Dynetics, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Leidos. The Leidos Dynetics team and Northrop Grumman recently announced their collaboration on the NASA Human Landing System Bid.
Craig Technologies will serve as the primary designer with Sidus Space as the manufacturer of pneumatic equipment used to pressurize the HLS for factory and environmental testing as well as the electrical equipment supplier to support HLS factory and environmental testing. This includes the fabrication of approximately two hundred cable assemblies, five pneumatic test panels, forty flex hose kits, three flow meter test kits, ten value manifolds, twenty test flanges, and a Galden servicing cart for testing and loading of thermal control subsystems.
Craig Technologies selected Sidus Space for the manufacturing and testing component of the proposal based on the company’s Space heritage and manufacturing capabilities. Craig Technologies is a majority shareholder of Sidus Space, and their service offerings complement one another to provide end-to-end solutions.
“We are thrilled to be a part of this historic mission and are looking forward to working with the Leidos Dynetics team to return astronauts safely to the moon” said Carol Craig, Founder and CEO of Craig Technologies.
Both Dynetics and Northrop Grumman have previously been awarded contracts with NASA in support of HLS under the NASA Next Space Technologies for Exploration Partnership (NextSTEP-2) contract.
